The Covid-19 pandemic has not prevented the world’s biggest stars from going to Cannes, where the 74th edition of the famous Film Festival is taking place. While a sanitary pass is required at the entrance and many evenings have been postponed due to the sanitary context, the spectacle of the rise of the stairs has not lost its splendor.
The Cannes Film Festival rolled out the red carpet for its third day with the premieres of “Lingui, les ties sacrés”, by Chadian filmmaker Mahamat Saleh Haroun, and the American film “Stillwater” presented out of official competition.
Hollywood star Matt Damon and French actress Camille Cottin walked the red carpet, which was again lined with photographers in tuxedos and surrounded by enthusiastic onlookers.
