2,474 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the UK in the last 24 hours, with 20 deaths. The figures are slightly up from the 2,357 cases and deaths recorded yesterday. On the vaccination front, the total number of administrations reached 53,675,733, of which 35,587,348 first doses and 18,088,385 second doses.
