Singer and composer Pavol Habera, who celebrates his 60th birthday on April 12, is one of the biggest stars in Slovak popular music. A native of Brezno Haber in Central Slovakia, he studied economics, but soon began to devote himself professionally to music. He started in the band Avion, but the turning point came in 1988 after joining the Martin group Team. Their first album with hits such as Reklama na ticho and Malá nočná búrka sold well – it sold a quarter of a million pieces and the band threatened the hitherto unshakable position of the Elán group on the Slovak pop-rock scene. In 1991, Habera became the last winner of the Czechoslovak Golden Nightingale poll and also released his solo record. In the following years, in addition to a successful solo career, he also continued to work with the Team. Habera is also a successful composer, among other things he composed the music for Karel Gott’s hit When a Man Has Breakfast with His Wife (1992). In recent years, he has also been known as a musical actor and juror of various television competitions, shining mainly as a juror in the Superstar show. She first appeared on the show in 2004, when her first series reached the audience. He also starred in the film, for example in the film Fountain for Zuzana 2. Habera lives with model Daniela Peštová, with whom he has a son and a daughter. Pestová celebrated the rounds in 2020 and on that occasion gave Pravda a great interview. The couple also shows up together at social events, every year they are guests of the prestigious film festival in Karlovy Vary. But as a couple, they often pose on social networks as well. Habera has a daughter from a previous relationship.
