The threshold of four million deaths worldwide from complications attributable to the coronavirus has been exceeded. Johns Hopkins University said this, updating the death toll to 4,000,929. Instead, 185,029,960 people are infected globally. The United States is the country most affected by the pandemic with 33,770,444 infected and 606,218 deaths. India follows with 30,663,665 positives and 404,211 deaths. The number of deaths in Brazil is higher, 528,540, while the cases confirmed by the authorities are 18,909,037.
