The Senate of the Supreme Court nevertheless sits and it is questionable whether it will accept Kotleb’s excuse. For four years and four months, the Specialized Criminal Court illegally sentenced the chairman of the LSN, Marian Kotleba, in October 2020. He should serve more than four years in a constitution with a minimum degree of guarding. The judge at the time found him guilty of the crime of supporting and promoting groups aimed at suppressing fundamental rights and freedoms. Kotleba handed out controversial checks in the amount of 1488 euros on March 14, 2017, ie on the anniversary of the declaration of the Slovak state. He handed them over to three families at the headquarters of the Business Academy in Banská Bystrica.
