According to him, ten members of the Fire and Rescue Corps from Prievidza intervened on the spot with three pieces of equipment. Rescuers took eight wounded to hospitals, two of them with serious injuries, said a spokeswoman for the Emergency Medical Service’s Operations Center. “Paramedics also treated three other people on the spot, their transport to the hospital was not necessary,” she added. They secured the scene of the incident, freed the trapped people from the cars, and provided first aid to the injured until the arrival of the emergency medical service. Two cars and a bus collided on the I / 64 road towards the village of Nedožery-Brezany (Prievidza district). According to the police, the road is impassable, the traffic is controlled by the police.
