But the work was hardly progressing, which constituted, among other things, points of tension with his wife, a nurse, who reproached him for his lack of investment. She contradicts Cédric’s declarations By asserting that he was having a hard time with the impending divorce, Nadine Fabre contradicts her son’s remarks since the latter had always told the gendarmes that “it was going well”. She also confirms the death threats made by his son against his wife, whom he suspected of cheating on him. This hearing follows that of the two residents close to the Jubillar house, a mother and her daughter, also heard by the judges on January 11, 2022. One of them, the mother, varied her testimony somewhat by indicating that the cries of fear from a woman that she had heard, around 11 p.m. on December 15, 2020, in the direction of the Jubillar house, a hundred meters away from hers, actually sounded like a scene where two dogs were fighting. And that these cries of “terror” could correspond to those of a woman who was trying to separate them. The Jubillar couple had two Shar-Pei dogs that were not known to be violent. Nobody in this subdivision plunged into darkness, that evening, expected these cries which would have lasted between 5 and 10 minutes. No trace of blood was found outside the house. Finally, in terms of hearings, the defense of Cédric Jubillar asked that the companion of Delphine’s lover be heard again. This woman who has ties to Reunion lived in concubinage, in Montauban, with the lover of the nurse from Cagnac-les-Mines. She had been heard by the investigators from the first days of the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar. She had learned, this December 15, the ongoing relationship that her companion had with Delphine. Her phone was off that night, like that of Cédric Jubillar, and, according to her statements, she had gone to bed between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. with her spouse, after an evening “which went well” . The search continues to find the body of Delphine Jubillar. This week, justice decided to keep her husband in prison, after 9 months of pre-trial detention. He always maintains his innocence.
