Smer MP Ľuboš Blaha must not spread lies and allegations that the president is a traitor or an American agent about President Zuzana Čaputová. This was decided by the Bratislava I District Court, which also ordered the deputy to remove these allegations from dozens of his social status within three days of receiving the decision. According to the law firm Taylor Wessing, who represents the president in this case, the court concluded that MP Blaha “grossly and without giving a factual basis interferes with the president’s personal rights, that there was an urgent need for judicial interference.” This is a decision of the court of first instance, against which MP Blaha can appeal. However, the court issued an urgent measure that is enforceable – in practice, this means that Blaha can appeal within 15 days of the decision being taken, but the urgent measure must be followed. She must remove her statements about the president from her statuses within three days of receiving the decision.
