Covid, in Russia new record of deaths: 737 in 24 hours

New record of deaths in Russia from causes attributable to Covid. This was announced by the Russian task force in charge of monitoring the progress of the pandemic in the country, reporting 737 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total death toll is thus updated to 139,316. Almost double, compared to the official figures provided by the Moscow government, is the death toll according to the Federal Statistical Office which speaks of about 270 thousand deaths from April last year to April 2021. With regard to infections, on the last day 23,378 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed, including 5,498 in Moscow.
