A Kremlin spokesman admitted to using nuclear weapons: it would happen with one option – New Time

Russia would consider using nuclear weapons in the face of an existential threat. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in an interview with CNN television, repeatedly refused to rule out that Moscow would use nuclear weapons. When asked under what conditions this would happen, he replied that “in the existential threat to our country”. The spokesman further acknowledged that Russia has not yet achieved any of the goals set by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine. However, he said that the “special military operation” was conducted in strict accordance with the original plans. Peskov further claimed that Russia had only attacked military targets in Ukraine, despite numerous reports of Russian airstrikes against civilian objects. As early as February, Putin warned that any country that seeks to stand in the way of Russia’s target and threaten its people must know that Moscow will respond immediately and that the consequences will be “never seen before in their history.”
