The defendant did not come to the verdict, nor did his lawyers. At the end of the trial, the expolicate asked the court to acquit him of the charges because he felt innocent. Although he partially confessed to the deeds at the time he was in custody, he claimed during the main hearing that this was under duress and a forced confession.
