Eat 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, Chestnut record

Victory and hot dog record. Joey Chestnut triumphed in the hot dog eating contest which takes place every 4th of July. The champion of the specialty devoured 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, retouching the record of 75 that already belonged to him. Chestnut collected the sixth title in a row and the 14th overall in a day characterized by problems in the transmission of the event: many spectators, in the USA and in the rest of the world, could not follow the champion’s exploit in full.
