He left his home country alone, equipped only with a plastic bag, passport and telephone number written on his hand. The parents had to stay in Ukraine. The travel story of a little Ukrainian was presented by the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic on a social network.

“He won them all with his smile, fearlessness and determination, worthy of a real hero,” The ministry said the boy had contacted his loved ones, who later picked him up from the border.
