LENZERHEIDE – Slovak skier Petra Vlhová did not finish Sunday’s huge World Cup slalom. In Lenzerheide, Switzerland, she dropped out in the first round after a mistake in the upper part, shortly before the second split time. The defender of the big globe thus gave Mikaele Shiffrin a chance to increase her lead in the overall ranking of the World Championships. The American rival led the race ahead of the race with a lead of 67 points over Vlhova and in the 1st round of the “turn” she was in second place after the initial fifteen with a shortfall of 11 hundreds to the leading Swede Sara Hectorová.
