Covid Cuba, today 3,308 infections: “worst” day in the pandemic

Over 3,000 cases of covid and 20 deaths in Cuba today: fears are growing for the spread of the coronavirus. According to the health authorities, today was the “worst” day since the beginning of the pandemic: 3,308 new cases of Covid-19 and another 20 deaths have been confirmed, while the active cases are 17,434. Infections among children under 18 are increasing. And it was the National Director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, Francisco Durán García, who spoke in no uncertain terms about the “worst” day so far.
