Covid Gb, Delta variant contagion boom: + 74% in one week


There are 27,125 new coronavirus infections in the United Kingdom today, struggling with the Delta variant. There have been another 27 deaths from the pandemic. This was reported by the BBC after 27,989 cases were diagnosed yesterday, the highest figure since January 29th. According to the Guardian, cases of infection have increased by 74% in the past week. In the UK, more than 45 million people – around 85% of adults – have received the first dose of the Covid vaccine and more than 33 million people have completed the vaccination.
