“We call on the European Union to immediately integrate Ukraine (into the EU) through a new special procedure,” declared the president. “Our goal is to be with all Europeans and, most importantly, to be on the same level. I am sure it is fair. I am sure it is possible,” Zelenskyj added.

In a video released on Monday shortly before 10 a.m., the top representative of Kiev said that Ukrainians had killed four and a half thousand Russian soldiers since the beginning of the Russian invasion. He also called on members of the Russian army to “save their lives and leave.”

A few minutes later, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said more than 5,000 Russian soldiers had reportedly died in the first four days of fighting in Ukraine. At the same time, Ukrainian forces allegedly destroyed 191 tanks, 29 fighter jets, 29 helicopters and 816 armored personnel carriers.
