Ukrainian war, Russia fails to break through: “Moscow forces frustrated”

Russia does not break through in the invasion of Ukraine and Moscow’s forces are increasingly “frustrated” by the resistance they are encountering, especially around Kiev. This is what Pentagon sources report to USA Today, underlining that the front of the Russian advance remains about 28 kilometers from the capital. The sources confirm that however some Russian avant-garde and reconnaissance forces managed to enter Kiev, but did not specify the number of Russian soldiers who are actually in the city at the moment. To date, the Americans still estimate, 50% of the Russian combat forces have entered Ukraine, while yesterday it was estimated that it was 30%. Similar information comes from British intelligence. Most of the Russian forces are located 30 kilometers from the center of Kiev according to the British Defense Ministry, warning Russia that the losses “could be heavy and greater than anticipated or recognized by the Kremlin”. According to intelligence information held by London, “Russia does not yet have control of Ukraine’s airspace, which reduces the efficiency of the Russian Air Force.”
