Talking to Adnkronos is an Italian, who prefers not to appear with his name to protect his privacy and that of the people who are with him, who tells the situation in which he is living together with 15 other Italian people in a hotel of Kiev, where he is stuck these days. “You don’t come here on vacation, or work or health,” he points out. The man says that the situation in the Ukrainian capital is apparently quite calm, at least in the area where they are at the moment. “It must be considered that Kiev is immense, we are in the first suburbs and everything seems quiet, they ask us to enter the bunker only in exceptional cases”, he explains. The mood is relatively serene: “We are in the hotel and we are calm, even if there is a bit of apprehension – explains the Italian citizen – today, for example, for 2-3 hours you have not heard a plane fly. this is the only concern, we don’t know if there is something underneath “, he concludes.
