The American portal Bloomberg, according to which the local government is considering sanctions against the Russian central bank, informs about it.

“The United States is considering using a real financial ‘nuclear button’, against which cutting off SWIFT is a trifle,” Trinity bank chief economist Lukáš Kovanda evaluates this step. Russia’s central bank has dollar deposits in US banks.

If the US imposes these sanctions, Russia will not be able to carry out any operations in the US currency or trade with its money houses.

This would be a huge problem for any Russian trade, as most operations are in dollars.
