Mainly women and children cross the border crossings from Ukraine to Slovakia. As TASR informed the Office of the Minister of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, the Ukrainian side in Vyšné Germany only allows women, children and senior citizens to be equipped, in small groups on an ongoing basis.

“On the Slovak side, there are no critical situations associated with the assembly of persons behind the border crossing. On the Slovak side, only six – seven cars and one other bus with passengers in front of the barrier are currently waiting to be equipped,” stated.
