NATO will also take additional measures “in order to protect the soil of our Baltic and Romanian allies”.

He also announced that new sanctions would be imposed by the European Union, “including against the highest leaders of the Russian Federation” and which could go through the freezing of the assets of Vladimir Putin and his entourage. penalties that “are never without consequences, including for us. But we assume it, because it is about defending our values”he added, before specifying that France would take “all the necessary decisions to protect our compatriots and our businesses”.
