Ukraine, war on Twitter: Putin like Hitler

Russia initiates the invasion and Ukraine publishes a meme. The country’s Twitter profile publishes a cartoon depicting Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Putin. Hitler reserves a caress for the Russian president, a compliment for military action. The tweet is followed by another shortly after: “This is not a meme, but ours and your reality right now”. The profile, which boasts over half a million followers, is particularly active. From the invitation to make donations for the Ukrainian army we move on to the ‘call to action’ addressed to users: “Tag @Russia and tell what you think of them”.
