The pin fiasco doesn’t go away! After the court map was not approved, criticism came from the judge: she criticized her lie and the style of communication – Topky.sk

Kolíková did not pass up to three proposals from the court map in the parliament. The only proposal that has passed concerns the new seats and districts of the district courts and envisages the abolition of the district courts in Partizánské, Skalice, Bánovce nad Bebravou and Kežmarok. The other three did not make it to the second reading. They were only supported by OĽaNO and SaS deputies, and not by all of them. “I think this vote was the result of the Members getting a really thorough acquaintance with our comments, but they also understood that the aim of the court map, as declared by Mrs Kolíková, could not be achieved by disrupting the courts, enlarging districts and so on.” said in an interview for eReport Judge of the Regional Court in Bratislava Ayše Eren Pružinec.

“On this occasion, I also heard a press conference by Mr Šeliga, who rightly pointed out that Ms Kolíková’s hidden goal or effort in connection with this court map was to replace the current court presidents, and that Ms Kolíková subsequently claimed in Sunday’s debate that Mr MP Šeliga lied, so I would like to remind you that the termination of the position of the president of the court in connection with a possible court map is regulated directly in the draft law on the city court or regional courts, which she submitted to parliament. So it is not Mr Šeliga who is lying, but Mrs Kolíková was lying in this case. “ she bequeathed.

In connection with the transparency of competitions, she pointed out that it is Kolíková who, as the Minister of Justice, selects up to three people for the five-member commission that conducts competitions for the position of judges. At the same time, it is enough for three out of five to be “in” the vote. She also pointed out that the minister reached around the same five names in her selection.

She also objected to Kolík’s statement that the protest of judges and court staff is a mistake and that reform is being done for the people. “This statement only reflects her way of communicating with us judges in a year and a half,” she bequeathed.

She also criticized other statements made by the minister. Kolíková claimed that it was not true that she would not communicate with the judges. According to her, Kolíková met only twice with the judges of the Regional Court in Bratislava and the district courts that fall within the scope. “For the first time on September 24, 2020, when even the court map was not on the agenda, as it was not presented until November 9, 2020. It did so for the second time last July during the holiday season,” Eren Pružinec said, making it clear that the number of judges he wanted would not be able to attend.

The protests, which then took place on the part of judges and court staff, were the result of this ignorance on the part of the Ministry of Justice. “In that year and a half, not only did it ignore all our comments, but Mrs Kolíková’s public speeches rather indicated that she ridiculed each of our specific views, which was not a general phrasus but an argument.” stated.

Matovič is also critical of Kolíková

After today’s government meeting, Minister of Finance Igor Matovič (OĽaNO) also criticized Kolíková. He said that the Minister of Justice had overtaken the coalition partners’ proposal on administrative courts “Figuratively speaking at midnight.” As he stated, “several coalition partners therefore stood in the back and said that the minister should not do the job if she wanted to achieve a positive result. “
