The discussion on Mikulca’s appeal is over: It lasted almost three days! Fico – NOVÝ ČAS spoke at the end

The discussion on the motion to dismiss the Minister of the Interior Roman Mikulec (OĽANO) ended on Wednesday evening.

Robert Fico, the chairman of Smer-SD, also spoke at the end of the abduction of the General Prosecutor’s Office (GP) of the Slovak Republic in the criminal case of the accused group of NAKA investigators for abusing the powers of a public official. The rapporteur, Ján Benčík (SaS), also spoke.

The discussion lasted almost three days, starting on Friday (February 18). Several speakers spoke. In addition to the leader of Smer-SD, the leader OĽANO and Deputy Prime Minister Igor Matovič, Minister of Justice Mária Kolíková and Mikulec also spoke at the beginning. Tuesday (February 22) was dominated by opposition speeches. The deputies of Smer-SD gradually read from the GP resolution.

According to Fico, Mikulec managed the activities of the accused investigators of the National Criminal Agency. He speaks of an “organized group” whose task was to “shut down the entire opposition.” The Minister denies the allegations. Several coalition leaders are talking about putting information out of context. They also claim that the interrogations of the investigators argued by the opposition were private informal communication. However, Smer-SD sees it differently.
