France Inter: Adèle Van Reeth succeeds Laurence Bloch at the head of the first radio station in France – OZAP

France Inter knows the face of its future director. A few months before the end of her mandate at the head of Radio France, Sibyle Veil, the president of the public radio group, announced this Wednesday in an interview with “World“, that Adèle Van Reeth will direct the first radio station in France. She will succeed Laurence Bloch, 70, who did not want to “make the season too much” according to Sibyle Veil. Adèle Van Reeth will officially take office in September 2022, at the age of only 39.

What future for the Demorand/Salamé duo?

The producer and host of “Paths of Philosophy”, the successful program and first podcast of France Culture, will work until then on the development of the new schedule of France Inter in tandem with Laurence Bloch, until its departure. The stakes are high for the former columnist of “We are not lying” since it is a question, for her, of maintaining hearings in good shape and the leadership of France Inter. “Bold choices will be made, it’s the DNA of France Inter“, already promises Sibyle Veil, who however refuses to announce a “big night“.

Among the strategic issues, the animation of the morning of France Inter, ensured for the moment by Léa Salamé and Nicolas Demorand. The boss of Radio France officially wants them to stay in their jobs next season, even if nothing is less certain. “Nicolas Demorand like Léa Salamé are two pillars of the morning show and of the channel in general. As long as they have the energy and the desire, I will be delighted that the listeners of France Inter can find themr”, commented Sibyle Veil to the “World”.

Before taking the helm of France Inter, Adèle Van Reeth also presented cultural programs such as “Livres & vous” on Public Sénat and the short program “D’art d’art” on France 2. She also was briefly a columnist in “We are not lying”, Laurent Ruquier’s famous Saturday evening show on France 2, in 2019.
