The Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava took care of its artistic form.

The initiator of the permanent place of reverence, a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic and the chairman of the parliamentary media committee Kristián Čekovský (OĽANO) reminded that the memorial will commemorate not only the memory of the murdered young people, but also the importance of free and independent journalism.

The memorial was originally to be funded through monetary donations, and the project was eventually decided to support the Ringier Media House.

In addition to the murdered parents, the prime minister also attended the unveiling of the memorial Eduard Heger (OĽaNO).
