“The assembly confirmed the significant personnel strengthening of our party, and we also officially approved the change of the name Good Choice and Reconciliation to confirm the ambition to represent center-right voters,” said Drucker. His party wants to return to normalcy in politics, he sees the goal in improving Slovakia.

Peter Kresák, a constitutional lawyer and former Most-Híd reinforcement, is a part of the Good Choice and the Moderates.

Clay appreciated the merger of the parties and his confirmation in the assembly, speaks of the challenge. He believes that there will be a demand for center-right politics in Slovakia. “Normal, moderate, predictive, predictable, one that is European, one that can be relied on. That’s what we want, that’s what we’ll do,” he added.

With neither the fascists nor Direction, Drucker mentioned the “black future”

Drucker stressed that the biggest political risk for the future is that the current government of chaos will be replaced by a “black future”, ie the government of Smer-SD, Hlas-SD and the fascists. “It is the duty of every politician to prevent such a scenario,” declared. He described the party’s main goal as creating an alternative to the “crazy government” and the “dangerous opposition”. He called for the cooperation of other political parties with a similar focus.

A referendum may not be a good idea, says Drucker

On the margin of the referendum on early elections, Drucker added that despite disagreement with the current government, he did not consider it systematic and good. He also pointed to the need to adopt difficult reforms, which people do not always have to like, and if such a referendum were allowed, no one would say.

Rado Baťo, Anton Marcinčin and Zsolt Simon also appeared among the “new faces”.

At the same time, he called for the reconstruction of the current government. Among other things, he criticized the disputes in it over fundamental reforms or the reluctance to remove some ministers. He talks about the need for the departure of the Minister of Finance Igor Matovič (OĽaNO), the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽaNO nominee) and the Minister of Agriculture Samuel Vlčan (OĽaNO nominee).
