Here are the new photos released this afternoon of the policeman suspected of having killed his partner at the end of January… – Le Blog de Jean-Marc Morandini

The police released this afternoon a new call for witnesses with two new photos of the policeman suspected of having killed his companion at the end of January in Paris and sought for three weeks.

The 29-year-old peacekeeper has been wanted since January 28, the day of the discovery in his apartment in the 19th arrondissement of Paris of the body of his companion, aged 28 and who died by strangulation, according to the autopsy. The body had been discovered in the bathroom by Parisian police officers who came to the suspect’s home, assigned to Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis).

The father of Arnaud B., a policeman on the run and suspected of the murder of his companion, spoke on BFMTV, asking his son to stop his run: “If you see me, if you hear me, if you see this message, I ask you to go without delay to the nearest police station or gendarmerie. I also ask the people who were able to help you in this useless escape to come forward as quickly as possible too (…) Do it for Amanda, for her parents, her family, we need to know”. He also explains that he met his son’s companion on several occasions, describing her as “a ray of sunshine, always smiling, adorable”.

Referring to his son, he speaks of a man who can be “a bit possessive”, who “has never been angry”.
