For Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, “the EU remains united” in the Ukrainian crisis

Elected President of the European Parliament last month, Roberta Metsola is the third woman in this position, after the French Simone Veil and Nicole Fontaine. This Maltese conservative of the European People’s Party began her mandate against the backdrop of a pandemic and threats of conflict at the gates of Europe.
