There was a tragic accident on the R1 motorway. One person did not survive the collision of two cars, the other was transported in serious condition by a rescue helicopter to the hospital.

Police are intervening at the site of the tragic accident, on the R1 motorway near the village of Vlčkovce, the exact circumstances and causes are not yet known. Trnava police officers inform about it on their social network.
“This afternoon, while preventing the truck, 2 cars and 1 truck collided for as yet unidentified reasons. Unfortunately, one person suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident. The other person had to be transported to the hospital by a rescue helicopter with serious injuries.” the police explain.
