The great reform has already gone through the problems with the government.
We will update the report.
BRATISLAVA. Parliament approved and moved only a minimum of the judicial map reform to the second reading.
This is the biggest reform of the Minister of Justice, Mary Pin and also a key government-wide project. Around half a billion euros from the European Recovery and Resilience Plan are linked to the reform.
However, the deputies only agreed on the reorganization of the district courts. On the contrary, they did not agree to changes in the number and form of regional courts, nor did the establishment of municipal courts in Bratislava and Košice.
The result of the vote was not certain until the last minute. The vote was preceded by a heated debate, in which Minister Kolíková herself took part. She has asked coalition members several times and begged to move the proposals to at least the second reading.
“To make room for anything,” Kolíková emphasized.

She described the establishment of municipal courts as crucial, as up to a quarter of all disputes take place in them. She also added that this is the most beautiful part of the whole proposal.
“If we omit Bratislava and Košice, then this is not a reform,” Kolíková emphasized. She also referred to role models from abroad. The Paris City Court covers about three hundred judges. The Bratislava one would have a hundred.
We are a family unexpectedly opposed to the city courts, although in recent weeks everything has indicated that this is the part of the reform that should not be a problem.
He finally suggested that this would not be the case Juraj Šeliga last week for SMEs in ZKH Interviews.
