Over the last 24 hours, the results of 75,611 tests were transmitted, with a positive rate of 27.8%, against 33.9% last week. The reproduction rate, which is about ten days behind the other data, stands at 0.82. The Omicron variant accounts for 98.9% of cases. In the last 28 days, the total number of infections amounted to 799,753, or 9182.69 per 100,000 inhabitants. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,627,993 infections and 12,601 deaths from Covid have been recorded in Switzerland. In total, 68.68% of Swiss people received two doses of the vaccine. Among the population over the age of twelve, the share rises to 77.90%. In addition, 75.52% of people over 65 and 41.03% of the population received the so-called booster, or the third booster dose.
