A small s for more power
the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G was released shortly after the A52, where the main change comes from the SoC integrated into the smartphone. If the classic version already offered a solid Snapdragon 750G capable of running the majority of 3D games of the moment, the model simply adding an “s” wants to go even further in performance by embarking this time another chip, still signed Qualcomm: the Snapdragon 778G. According to the manufacturer, this new processor is 40% more powerful than the old one in terms of performance and up to 83% more on the graphics part. On a game like Fortinite, it is then possible to play in high quality with a constant framerate.
Of course, the user experience is perfectly fluid and above all very comfortable on a daily basis thanks to the excellent One UI interface. The latter is also offered in its most recent version (4.0) since the A52s has recently received the update Android 12. It should also be noted that the smartphone is compatible with the 5G network.
A winning formula
For the rest, the Galaxy A52s does not change the other very good components of its elder. We then find this modern design, therefore borderless, with a 6.5-inch screen which obviously occupies the majority of the front facade. The panel is unsurprisingly of good quality, since AMOLED displaying a Full HD + definition and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This previously mentioned technology is quite resource-intensive, but the autonomy is very respectable, because the 4,500 mAh battery allows the Samsung smartphone to easily last a whole day, or even more if your use is moderate. For recharging, allow more than an hour to go from 0 to 100% with the 25 W fast charge.
On the photo side, you will not be disappointed. The Korean giant of course reserves the best possible quality for its flagships, but the brand’s mid-range devices benefit from this same know-how. The A52s then takes finely detailed shots with natural colors via its 64-megapixel main sensor. The 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle also delivers good results without too much distortion. On the other hand, the 5 megapixel sensor dedicated to portrait mode is perfectible, with sometimes risky clipping. New here is the 5-megapixel macro sensor, but it’s clearly anecdotal. For your most beautiful selfies, you can finally count on a 32-megapixel front camera.
