These less complicated cases cost thousands of euros, including the payment of quarantine costs in one case.” Trajbold added.

Therefore, the insurance company recommends that people check the extent of coverage of the medical costs of COVID-19 as part of their travel insurance in the country to which they are traveling. “UNIQA fully covers all applicable contracts travel insurance, possible disease covidom-19 also in countries to which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Slovak Republic do not recommend to travel due to the spread of the disease. The client does not pay any surcharges for the insurance protection of medical expenses at the time of covide, nor does he have to take out additional insurance.
