Morocco, little Rayan is dead

Little Rayan is dead. The 5-year-old boy was extracted this evening from the 32-meter deep well he fell into in the Tamorot area, in the province of Chefchaouen, Morocco. The teams of doctors and firefighters were involved in the rescue operations for five days. The rescuers had reached through the horizontal tunnel dug deep to the point where the child was, inside the well parallel to the pit created to save him. The king of Morocco addressed a message of condolence to the child’s family and had a telephone conversation with Rayan’s father, Khalid Ourram and with Soumaya Kharchich, reports the local newspaper ‘Le Matin’.
