People who would like to try investing in stocks or ETFs on a small scale often run into a fee barrier. Because if you want to buy a share that costs, for example, 100 euros, and the fee for buying it is 25 euros, it does not make economic sense. But now everything is different.

The solution is brought by the largest Slovak bank, which again reduces fees to a minimum, to the level of as little as one euro. If you would also like to buy a security and at the same time do not want to invest a large amount, you have the opportunity to do so very effectively until the end of February.

Minimum fees

“We really want to bring investment closer to everyone. There are many people who would like to try it and buy a share of a favorite company, for example, but due to the costs associated with investing, it has not yet paid off. Now they have a unique chance to invest only with a symbolic fee, “ says Michal Orlovský, responsible for managing the assets of Slovenská sporiteľňa’s clients.

The bank standardly charges a one percent fee for the online purchase of securities up to EUR 15,000, with a minimum amount of EUR 12.50 or EUR 25, depending on the stock exchange through which you invest. For purchases entered by February 28 using George however, a minimum fee of 1 euro applies.

You will save on shares and ETF funds

Let’s look at the example of Apple. Today, its share costs about 140 euros. Under standard conditions, you would pay a fee of at least 12.50 euros to buy it. During the current event, however, it will be only 1.40 euros, ie significantly less. At the same time, the total number of preferential purchases is not limited in any way. Therefore, you can build, for example, your own investment portfolio of stocks with minimal costs more than 330 global companies. In that case, you would save a few tens of euros.
