Isolation will last for five days, unless the positive 24 hours have experienced symptoms that prevent work, in which case the doctor will decide. For the next five days, this person must wear a respirator in public without an exhalation valve. Children in schools and school facilities can also wear a veil. A new person is also considered positive after performing a home antigen test, which, however, must be assessed by his general practitioner.

In the case of quarantine, two regimes apply
In the case of quarantine, ie if a person comes into close contact with a positive person, the decree introduces two regimes. A mandatory five-day quarantine will apply to unvaccinated and vaccinated without a booster third dose who are more than nine months after vaccination. It will no longer be necessary to perform a PCR test on the fifth day with every close contact. The attending physician will decide whether to perform the test.
If no symptoms occur, the person must wear a respirator in public for another five days after quarantine, and children in schools and school facilities may also wear a drape. If symptoms of the disease occur during quarantine, the general procedure will be decided by the general practitioner.

The rule of close contact is also changing
Compulsory quarantine after close contact does not apply to fully vaccinated with a booster dose, fully vaccinated within nine months of vaccination or to persons who have survived COVID-19 less than 180 days ago. The condition is that they do not have any of the symptoms and for the next seven days they must wear a respirator in public. A general practitioner can decide on quarantine if, for example, there is close contact with a person in the same household.
After the new one, it is a close contact even if the person with the positive without a respirator is indoors for more than five minutes. The original limit was 15 minutes. These are also cases where people have traveled together by means of transport for more than five minutes.
Persons who were in isolation or quarantine before the new decree came into force will terminate it according to the current rules. The functioning of people on special treatment, such as health professionals or social workers, does not change.
