We are preparing for omicron wool

UNLP currently has 26% occupancy of metal beds, in the most critical times it was at 100%. “We are currently actively preparing for the omicron wave, given the expectations of a large influx of patients in the coming weeks,” said Ľuboslav Beňa, Executive Director of UNLP Košice for Medical and Preventive Care.

“Based on the government resolution on the proposal to create emergency medical facilities at the time of the humanitarian catastrophe due to the development of the epidemiological situation in the Slovak Republic, we are preparing to create a metal workshop that would ease the situation of the current metal surgery clinic and allow patients to seek available medical care.” he added.
