Presidential: MEP RN Gilbert Collard will rally Eric Zemmour – franceinfo

It is a heavyweight of the RN who joins Eric Zemmour. MEP RN Gilbert Collard will join the campaign of the far-right presidential candidate, learned France Télévisions and franceinfo from the entourage of Eric Zemmour, Friday January 21, confirming information from BFM TV. The elected RN will also be present at the candidate’s meeting in Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes), Saturday.

This confirmation comes as the person concerned had already suggested on Facebook, earlier on Friday, that he could imitate his colleagues Jérôme Rivière and Damien Rieu, MEP and parliamentary assistant RN, who joined the former editorialist this week. “Tomorrow I’m going to bathe in the river (…) Rubicon”, he had dropped, answering the question about his schedule on Saturday.

These multiple rallies are a welcome breath of fresh air for the candidate, who is facing a difficult week, between new judicial conviction, hectic movements and backlash in the polls.
