In addition, free testing can be used for preoperative examinations or planned hospitalizations. “In this case, it is important to indicate the date of arrival at the hospital for the test within the set time limit,” said the spokeswoman.

According to her, a positive result of the antigen test can also be confirmed free of charge by a PCR test, as verification by a PCR test is necessary to obtain a digital COVID certificate of overcoming. Gray noted that even in this case, the test is covered by health insurance.
