Igor Matovič will have to apologize to Ľuboš Blah for his statement about the “soap of the ram” – REFRESHER

According to the daily Pravda the judge of the District Court in Trnava rejected Igor Matovič’s motion to set aside the default judgment, according to which the head of OĽaNO should apologize to Smer MP Ľuboš Blah.

However, Jana Kondákorová, a spokeswoman for the Regional Court in Trnava, revealed that this decision is not yet valid. Ľuboš Blaha, a member of the Smer-SD party, sued Igor Matovič for his statement of September 24, 2020, when he spoke about the information he received by e-mail during the question hour during the position of the Prime Minister on the floor of the parliament.

According to her, Blaha jumped over the garden fence as a student and “soaped the ram”. Matovič then reacted to Blah’s speech, where he spoke of Matovič’s wife as a “white mare”.

The District Court in Trnava ruled in this dispute on the protection of personality and adequate satisfaction by a default judgment. According to this judgment, Matovič is to apologize to Blah on the premises of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. The applicant awarded the applicant 100% of the costs.

Courts usually give judgments in cases where one of the parties to the proceedings is passive and does not respond to the court’s summons. Matovič did not comment on the lawsuit in any way, so the court ruled in default. Apart from that, he responded with a request for annulment and also commented on the lawsuit.
