Covid today England, 5-day isolation in force: new rules

The new rules on isolation for vaccinated people who test positive for Covid-19 come into force today in England. As reported by local media, the isolation is reduced from seven to five days, but on the condition of a double swab with negative results on the fifth and sixth days. Previously, positives could end isolation if they tested negative on the sixth and seventh days, with the test performed 24 hours apart.
