Slovak hockey player Erik Černák could return to the Tampa Bay Lightning team already in Tuesday’s NHL match against Los Angeles (on Wednesday night at 4.30 CET). The 24-year-old defender did not play in Saturday’s duel against Dallas, he was eliminated from the game by a lower body injury.
Černák was injured on Friday night in a match with Vancouver, when a puck hit him inside the ankle while blocking the shot. He has suffered twice injuries this season while blocking the shot. He missed eight games in November and ten in December.
Now, however, his injury is not serious and, according to “lightning” coach Jon Cooper, he was close to joining the Stars on Saturday. The information was provided by the official Lightning website.
