NAKA accused the bankruptcy administrator of Bašternák’s property. He faces a heavy sentence – TVNOVINY.sk

The National Criminal Agency (NAKA) has accused the property administrator Ladislav Bašternák of attempting a particularly serious crime of breach of duty in the administration of foreign property. They inform Aktuality.sk.

As a bankruptcy trustee, Lenka Ivanová did not challenge Bašternák’s procedures when he transferred most of his property to loved ones before the verdict. She saw nothing suspicious in the property transfers. Although she had the opportunity to challenge these steps in court, she did not. The warden was replaced.

As the damage that could have happened to the state is in the millions of euros, if Ivan is found guilty, he faces a heavy sentence. He can wake up behind bars for ten to fifteen years.

Police have been investigating the case since the autumn of 2020. Ivan is so far the only person prosecuted by the police in this regard. He refuses the fault. The police originally calculated that the property, which at that time had only been disposed of by the accused Bašternák, was worth at least 6.65 million euros.
