Pfizer will invest 520 million euros over 5 years in France

The Pfizer laboratory plans to invest 520 million euros over 5 years in France to fight against Covid-19, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told BFM TV on Monday January 17.

He added that Pfizer is preparing to entrust the French pharmaceutical subcontractor Novasep, on its site in Mourenx (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), with part of the world production of the active ingredient of its anti-Covid pill. Pfizer has indicated that technical transfer, development and equipment installation activities at this site will begin as soon as possible.

The laboratory is also committed to working with healthcare establishments in France with the aim of significantly increasing the recruitment of patients in its clinical trials over the next five years.
