Ukraine has seen an attack from Russia: We also have evidence! Moscow’s pungent answer – NEW TIME

Ukraine has proof that Russia is behind Russia’s large-scale cyber attack on web portals of Ukrainian government institutions.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Digitization announced it on Sunday, the AFP agency reported. “All the evidence suggests that Russia is behind the cyber attack … Moscow continues to wage a hybrid war,” The Ukrainian Department of Digitization said in a statement. The ministry also called on the people of Ukraine not to panic because all their personal data is protected.

According to the ministry, the aim of the cyber attack was “not only to disturb society, but also to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, interrupt the work of the public sector and undermine Ukrainians’ confidence in local authorities”.

The Kremlin denies responsibility for the cyber attack that Ukrainian government portals faced on Friday.

“We have nothing to do with it … Ukrainians blame Russia for everything, even bad weather in their country,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told CNN.

Meanwhile, the American company Microsoft warned on Sunday that a cyber attack on Ukrainian government sites could be more destructive and affect more organizations than originally expected.
