The fourth downhill of the alpine ski season has a new winner. All previous ones were won by the Italian Sofia Goggio, who, however, did not reach the finish line after a mistake in Zauchensee. Lara Gut-Behrami made the best use of her hesitation.
Switzerland has had a challenging period. She was ruled out of the race in Val d’Isere, France, by a positive coronavirus test, with a report of her infection on December 17.
