The Andalusian derby between Bétis and Sevilla FC was definitively interrupted after a player received a bar, a priori plastic, launched from the stands, on the head.

The two Seville clubs faced each other this Saturday evening in the round of 16 of the King’s Cup, and unfortunately the meeting was stopped in the 40th minute, when Nabil Fekir had just equalized for Bétis (1- 1). Present in his penalty area, Joan Jordan, the Sevilla FC player, received a bar on the head and collapsed under the violence of the shock, but fortunately he quickly regained his senses. The referee obviously immediately sent both teams back to the locker room. And after more than 30 minutes of dithering behind the scenes, the Spanish Federation announced that the meeting was definitively called off.
