Hundreds of people protested against Bratislava’s defense agreement in Bratislava’s Hviezdoslav Square.
According to the police, the situation was calm. Protesters gathered in front of the US embassy building. They chanted slogans such as “We are here at home” or “We will not have Slovakia”. Several personalities spoke, including members of the non-parliamentary Republic party, Štefan Harabin and the protest organizer Peter Marček and others.
“The situation was calm, we did not notice any violations of public order,” Michal Szeiff, Bratislava’s regional police spokesman, told TASR.
